M55 Threadmaster Threadseal High Density PTFE Tape, White, 1/2in x 520in

Threadmaster Threadseal Tape permits quick, clean and economical sealing of male pipe threads of all sizes and reduces the risk of system contamination common with liquid and paste sealants. The self-lubricating quality of our unsintered PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) tape makes joints easy to assemble and disassemble and extends the life of the sealed connections.

Threadmaster M55 Standard Density is intended for those application that require the sealing properties of a quality thread seal tape. It’s ideal for general purpose thread sealing: plumbing and general industrial applications involving water, oils, petroleum, natural gas, butane, propane and more.

Threadmaster Threadseal Tape is totally maintenance free. It is virtually chemically inert, non-toxic, insoluble, non-biodegradable, non-flammable and the white is 100% pure PTFE (Colorings in any and every roll of colored or nickel tape are non-PTFE additives making them impossible to be 100% pure.) All will handle temperatures from -450°F to 550°F (-232°C to 265°C). Pressure is UL rated from a hard vacuum to 100psi (but can handle to 10,000 psi depending on the quality of your fittings*) All are UL listed. Each proudly displays a full color made in USA flag and directions for use. Shelf life is indefinite.
