The MSA V-Gard Full Brim Hard Hat with Fas-Trac III Suspension is known for comfort, quality, and durability. The MSA V-Gard Helmet features a distinctive trademark "V" design and is a world recognized brand known. This hard hat meets with ANSI Z89.1, Type I, Classes E (Electrical). This is a hard hat that provides protection against such hazards as falling objects overhead, electrical shock and UV radiation. The MSA full brim cap is tested to provide protection from a force that is approximately the equivalent to a 16 oz. hammer dropping from 40 feet. The brim extends wide over the neck and ears, which helps to reduce the amount of harmful UV radiation from the sun.
