MSA Galaxy GX2 ALTAIR 5/5X Detector Multi-Unit Charger

This is the ALTAIR 5/5X Gas Detector Multi-Unit Charger (#10127427) by MSA Safety. This multi-charger can simultaneously charge up to four gas detectors of the ALTAIR 5 and 5X family. Each Multi-Unit Charger (MUC) contains its own power supply and does not connect electrically to a testing system or testing stand. The MUC housing is designed to physically connect to each other, whether bench-top or wall-mounted (if desired).

The light indicators on the Multi-Unit Charger are defined as follows:

• Red indicates that the unit is charging
• Green indicates that the unit is fully charged or no unit is inserted

Note: There can be as much as a 10 minute window between when the instrument battery indicator shows charged and the Multi-Unit charger status indicator changes. The instrument indicator is the most accurate and will indicate the true charge state of the battery.
